Welcome. These terms govern your use of Color Checkers (colorcheckers.io). By accessing the site or playing a game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity that occurs under your account. Choose a strong password; do not share it. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Guest play has no minimum age but is still bound by these terms.

Acceptable use

While using Color Checkers you agree not to:

• Cheat — use bots, scripts, multiple accounts to inflate stats, or any tool that gives you an advantage over a fair opponent.
• Harass, threaten, dox, or send hateful content to other players via chat, invitations, or display names.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload the service, including scraping behind authentication, scanning for vulnerabilities without permission, or running denial-of-service attacks.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close any account that we reasonably believe is violating these terms, and we can do it without notice when the situation calls for it. We will try to give a heads-up first when we can.

Your content

Game moves, custom rule sets you create, chat messages, and any other content you submit remain yours. By submitting them you give us a non-exclusive license to host them, display them to other players, and use them as needed to operate the game (replays, match history, scoreboards, anti-cheat).

Fees

Color Checkers is currently free to play. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be clearly marked and these terms will be updated before any charges are made.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Color Checkers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
